Prayers to Miley! Several years ago a friend of mine who runs hounds for bobcats had one of his best dogs develop a lump on its throat. After several mis-diagnosis from local vets. he finally went to Cornell (almost too late) and it turned out to be some sort of infection in the dogs salavary glands. Long story short, after surgery, he recovered fully. Hoping for a such a result for you too!

Thank you all so much for your prayers, I appreciate it so much! Took Miley to the vet tonight, and we actually had to search a little to find the knot, thank God above! He said he did not think it had gotten any larger, and he explained again how a biopsy might or might not hit the bad tissue, if there is any. So we decided to wait another month to see if anything changes. He said it could just be a cyst and might not change at all. Due to the location, he won't remove it, but can refer me to a specialist if we decide to have it removed. Tim, I passed on the info you provided, and he told me where the 3 sets of salivary glands are, and said this was not in those locations. But thanks for making me aware of it, never hurts to ask.

So if you all would, please continue to pray for Miley. I have no doubt God can remove this from her, and ask you to pray for that if you would. May God bless you all, and I mean that.

My kid used to get those---infected salivary gland. Antibiotics cleared it up. They REALLY hurt. It stymied the human doctors.

Fishn, I hope your guy makes a full recovery.
