Second this statement. Lots of good info on the DVDs. And if you train alone great help!

A good dvd. I recommend it. The dvd does what it's title says. It doesn't teach you how to train a dog from puppyhood until a finished dog. Other programs do that. The dvd shows you how to do many things that you can do by yourself plus demos much of the equipment that is available to help you train alone.

Yes. This DVD is a MUST for folks who, every once in a while, or, more often than not, train alone.

If you already successfully do a significant amount of your training alone, do not expect an epiphany.

I would agree with that. It is an excellent video and well worth having. However, if you already do a lot of training alone and use wingers, malcolms, etc., much of the demo part is not new. The rest is very good but won't change your life. I think it will help you become more efficient and purpose oriented in your training as well as give you a number of new ideas. It is very good in that regard.

    Yes I agree.
Now, if you cannot sit your dog and walk away. This vid aint for you. No rope in this dvd.
if he ever does a 2nd edition like Mr. Lardy did. including a young dog breaking with Dennis in the field. And his reaction, would be good.

I really like the DVD. I'm not able to join a group as often as I would like to, so there are very good concepts and equipment demos for the amature. Like Wayne said though, this is not a training progam and I wasn't looking for that when I bought the DVD. Dennis does a great job describing concepts and I appreciate his mannerism as well.
