Boones Farm. they have several designer wines for the most discriminating palate. Honest.
I have learned I need these dogs much more than they need me. Tim Bockmon
Find the Fratelli Perata winery. Off the beaten track and not at all like the big wine rooms. Family run situated on top of a hill it is old school wine tasting at its very best. Eberle was a great "secret" for a time but now the secret is out. Couple of good spots on the West side taking the 46 toward the coast.
Also a good Italian Restaurant in Paso next to the motor lodge near downtown. Unbeatable food!
Not for me, "I'm gonna drink my RIPPLE wine down in the lightnin' bar"
This was supposed to be in reply to duk4me's post. I missed the "quote" part.

Ok Bon...I'm 5th generation pure-bred Irish Texan whose family did the opposite (moved from Texas to California) when I was 16 (about a million years ago). I still love Texas and its people...I'm still a rabid UT fan (although I have been known to yell "ROLL TIDE!" once in a while)...but after all these years in "Sort of Southern California" I still won't even watch Laker coverage on the news (much less a game) and the Dodgers make me mad! Just sayin'.
Don't like any NBA and damned little baseball regards.![]()
