Bad week- Lost a good friend.... Monica Parks

I've just had a hard time this week, learning that we lost a good friend to cancer on Christmas Eve. Monica Parks and her husband Bob were good friends and clients of mine. Monica was exhuberant and full of life. Her outgoing nature was hard to ignore and anyone who has come in contact with her, will remember her. She was the raffle lady! She would win all the time! Monica was the boss Marshall. She didnt take no 'crap " and kept it all running smoothly... Our hunt tests and training days, will not be the same without her. I know she will be truly missed !

My condolences on the loss of your friend. Our friendships are what makes our lives so memorable. Cancer is a great evil. It seems to rob us of so many good people and good clogs.

Monica was one of..the mighty few get in there get it done, and have most fun too. She and her husband and 2 other couples worked hospitality at 10-10-10 MN. Dusk to dawn in their mules, zooming lunches, water,big smiles.they donated 2 weeks to making it all work. None had dogs in the event!! Im going to miss Monica ribbing of where are my Nachos?? One of our insider stories. She made all she met feel special

I met Monica at the 10-10-10 Master National. I was stuck all day under the big tent selling merchandise for the host club. When Monica took a break for lunch (which was usually later in the afternoon), she would come and sit at our table under the tent. What a bubbling personality! Here she was, hot and tired and taking a quick break to eat a sandwich and drink a cold drink... and she was asking me what she can do to help at the table. I really enjoyed meeting her and talking with her. What a hard worker and delightful person she was! I wish I had gotten to really know her and I am sorry to hear she is gone.
