    Default Some MFTA results

Maybe TS will have the rest - but here is what I have.

    Open:
    1st - Charlie Hays - Profit
2nd - Dan Sayles with Scanner (11 years old)
3rd - Fabian with Mika (with a handle)
4th - Charie Hays with his yellow (with a handle)

Only two dogs did not handle in the 4th.

Had two other dogs finish - don't remember their names and I have not unpacked yet. Just got back from the airport 1 hour ago.

Watched the last few dogs run in the Am yesterday afternoon after we had finished the Open. Handlers were all holed up in their trucks, maybe two people in the gallery. All the handlers were making the walk up to the line with their shoulders hunched and their heads hung low. It was like a death march. I think they had 10-12 dogs do the test out of 50 dogs. It was a killer.

7 dogs into the last series of the Derby

That should put Scanner over 100 AA points! Hope my girl by him has that kind of gusto at his age.

Don't you just love watching those old dogs like Scanner? I saw him line a very difficult blind last summer in Minn. with Bartlett. That dog just looks at the test, and says, "yeah, I've done this before and I know where those birds are."
