Clean bill of health.
Went to the vet yesterday regarding my BLF sprained ankle.
She's been down for just about 8 weeks, the vet said yesterday that she's looking great, healing as expected and that I should start slowly working her into her normal routine.
She still limps a bit and will favor the leg on occasion but the swelling is completely gone with only a small lump on her carpel joint. The vet said the lump is most likely scare tissue and may never go away.
The whole pack will be training tomorrow.

Just keep an eye on her I was told my dog had a sprain, he improved with cage rest. It turned out to be a tear in the biceps tendon.

Is it even possible for a sprain to leave scar tissue? Also, Cyndi, I just had a vet tell me something similar when I took my dog in for what appeared to be an injured tendon on the rear leg. He is improving with crate rest, but I wonder if that actually improved your dog's condition?
