    Default Burlington,Iowa

    I have gained access to some ground near Burlington, Iowa. I will hunt it next season. Hoping to get a deer tag for slug gun and combo hunt for ducks and geese. Is the duck/goose hunting decent in early/mid December?

    Canada Goose hunting can be good early December where I live (~70 mi NW). This year it didn't get good until later (closed 11 Jan with lots still around.) Duck seasons end early Dec.
