    Default WTB E-Collar

    Hey,

I am looking to buy a E-Collar and transmitter one or two collar system. I am a beginning trainer and currently only have my one lab pup for waterfowl but looking at expanding in october probably when I get my new GWP for upland.. I am looking for an ecollar around $200-250 if possible. It doesnt have to be in great shape...just working preferably Dogtra as I have only heard good things about their collars...

I am new to the forums so I am not sure if my PM is working yet but if you have a collar your interested in selling I will be checking the thread on a constant basis.

    Thanks!

Look at the Tri-Tronics sport basic. You can get it for arond 240.00 brand new. And you'll have a warranty.

Brad B I had been looking at all the collars for a couple months now I just always heard really good things about Dogtra and heard Tri Tronics were not put together as good...Then again it seems like with all things everyone is impartial as to what brand they use specially if their a pro or rep of that brand..

I ended up ordering a Tri Tronics g3 Sport as I have heard good things about them before and after giving them a second look its in my college budget and suits everything I need right now from a training and hunting perspective. Someday I would like to have a couple dogs running at a time but the most I could ever see in my immediate future having would be 3 dogs tops..So this collar seemed like it would be perfect for me..

And the warranty is a big plus..

So mods if you want you can take this thread down I cant figure out how...

    THANKS AGAIN RTF

I think you'll be happy with your decision. That's the model I suggest to all my clients and I've had no complaints. I've been using TT for about 12 years now and I've had zero failures in the construction of them. Only thing I've send them in for was a couple stopped linking up with the transmitter. I use a single dog model now so that's been cured. Each time the customer service was fast, polite, and helpful.

Good luck with your dog, looks like a nice one!
