Buster is a nice dog, good tempered, good looking, sweet, hunted as well as trialed and lives in the house. I've seen some of his offspring. Talented markers. Not sure what you're looking for, hunting, HT, FT or what, but, as with any well-bred retriever, the training is up to you, upholding standards in obedience is up to you and you have to train the dog you get regardless of pedigree. I of course adore Grady, don't know what daughter of his is being bred to Buster or her bottom side, but just in general, if you're looking for field ability and decent temperament, I'd not hesitate on Buster himself, Grady back there is a nice bonus.

I saw a buster pup run several derbies last year....was the number 2 derby dog in the nation, Lucky Times. Was a fantastic marker and very solid at the line. A very impressive young dog.

Tank excellent pedigree. Also excellent mentor in Mickey as well. She'll be having you run trials "If' you're dog is talented. LOL.
Many trial dogs are also good hunting dogs in the off season.
    Good Luck.
