Default Woman Stops Grizzly with 25 Caliber Handgun (GDG)

    Her Story..

While hiking in Alberta Canada with my boyfriend we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive. If I had not had my little Beretta 25 Caliber pistol with me I would not be here today!

Just one shot to my boyfriend's knee cap was all it took. The bear got him and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace.

Love it! A new version of the old joke that ends with "I don't have to outrun the bear, I only have to outrun you!".

An old joke up here, but it got me. I was thinking, "You can't have a handgun in Canada."

Then I read the punch line.

You really gotta be careful about how high a pedestal you put your method, your accomplishments, your dog on. There's usually someone who's done more, somewhere. And they may have used a different method than you did! Chris Atkinson 2013

Further Joke Fail - You are now wanted in Canada in the connection of shooting a grizzly (most probably in a national park). Shooting an animal with a handgun. NO permit to transport or own a handgun in Canada. Both the provincial and federal jurisdictions are looking for you. They may even be seeking your deportation to Canada to stand trial.

Nobody shot the grizzly, the girlfriend just provided it a meal.

Love that old joke. Of course it's more than a joke....I always make sure at least one of my hunting partners is slower than I.....
