but never an issue as everyone I know buys the hunting licence January 2nd and nobody trains on property without landowner permission. While I may have, I do not think I have ever trained with somebody who did not have a licence on land I did not have permission to be on. You may not abide by those rules, but I do...

I can train but not hunt!! and I am okay with that. One property I train on does not want guns on the property. I can get away with BB and I am happy to have the land!

Your Canada reasoning threw everyone Mary. If you said it's too close to town or we can't use live ammo this thread would have taken a different route. You may want to ask the land owner about the coyotes and maybe they want them trapped or shot.

Oh God that is cold where you are. I am in Watford 35 miles from Sarnia. Right now it is 17F and going lower. Thinking about my training tomorrow.

now now scott we cant be feeding the cats to the coyotes. no matter how we feel about them.
now as for the coyotes running away when you get your dog out of the truck; they arent always scared of your dogs. this year we had one come out into the yard while we were doing pattern blinds with the young dogs.
