    Actually, I think it does matter. Much of the general public is under the assumption that assault weapons are full auto, and as you know, they are not. If in this case it was a semi, we should not in any way be perpetuating the myth that "machine guns" are easily obtained or are in widespread illegal use.

    Maybe in this case, I don't know... But in most cases criminals are not buying their guns at gun stores or gun shows... They are either stealing them or buying stolen guns. We need to enforce the laws we have before creating laws on top of more laws.

    According to FBI statistics 80% + of violent crime is commited by repeat offenders.

    Under my plan, I could eliminate 80% + of our violent crime!!!!!!
