Red Drum or "Red Fish", its the fish that started the blackend fish craze 25 yrs ago pushing them to the brink of total extermination on the coast. They have game fish status now so it's hands off for the commercials. It was tagged last week by another angler very close to where I caught it Sunday. I prefer to catch and eat spotted sea trout but do keep some to give to friends.
