He is not able to walk at this time
steve becker
I am very sorry to hear all of this. Don’t wait to get the diagnosis before starting the treatment. GET HIM GOING NOW!! My dogs symptoms started with a limp and escalated from there. We thought the limp was just that…nothing to be concerned about. It went away and about a week later he couldn’t get up and he was crying in pain. IT totally ripped us a part seeing him like that. I hope and pray that if it is Blasto that they have caught it in time but you are in for a long road…
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver.

Have a friend who's Golden boy had Blasto not too long ago. Went to vet for what they thought was an eye infection. He lost his sight in that eye, but told that can happen with virus. Treated but decision made to leave eye as is.
Then, he started having an issue getting around, not eating, no energy.... Turns out, another vet found the Blasto, removed the eye as that was the source, a sort of breeding ground if you will.and it was spreading over his body. So, the first sign of an issue was the "eye infection".. There were ups and downs, but he was saved.
My vet said once they have Blasto, must have meds the rest of their lives.
So sorry and hope they are able to save your boy.
Best,
Judy
