Feeding System

I try to be as efficient as possible with my time. Previously I struggled at feeding time with different dogs getting different amounts,some on medication, some on supplements, etc. I rigged this simple feeding system to allow me to prepare each dogs' food seperately at the food storage area. Then I can pick up the system at the middle and carry it to the kennel gates. This has made feeding much less stressful. What are some of your "tricks of the trade" that have made your life easier in caring for your dogs?

I dunno, I feed a lot, 10 adults of my own(two pups-both up at the house for feeding), plus up to 20 in the kennel. I feed mine in crates and everyone eats in their own ,I just go down the line. Fill and stack bowls, and take about 6 down at once. I've tried a cart with wheels but its not really any easier than how I do it. But Ive done it for 15 +years so I guess I have a routine.

My 95 pound wife totes it effortlessly......these are only 1 qt. buckets.

Same here. I have a table by the food bins, with any applicable meds/supplements, fill the bowls and go down the line, I carry 6-7 bowls at a time (12 dogs in the house now). Some dogs eat in kennels, the rest are basically just a line down the hall into the living/dining/kitchen, with each having their "space". I do keep a white board on the wall above the table in case my husband has to feed, with amounts, etc. The dogs all know the routine and order and it takes about 10 minutes, twice a day.

The appropriately filled buckets are unclipped, enter that dogs kennel, require the dog to sit until the contents are poured in the stainless pan, move out of the way and then release the dog to the pan. Two of these "systems" could be easily carried....that would be 12 of these 1 quart buckets.
This is just the system that ended up working for me.....I'm open minded enough to critique other methods and if they work better for me then I'm swithching. However, I must be too spazzy to carry the stacked bowls...always made a mess.
