This is indeed sad news. His legacy will live on in all the puppies that learn from his journey on the DVD. Sorry to all who knew and loved him.
Im very sorry for your loss. I learned a lot from studying Bill and Nick.
Kory
Thank you for loving Nick and taking care of him. As Kory so simply stated we learned so much from him. I am so sorry for your loss.
sorry for your loss I learned alot from watching Nick and Bill on the puppy training video
My deepest condolences to Steve, Bill and Mary Hilllmann, and all who knew and loved Nick. I will never forget the days I was running some derbies with my current lab, who is now 6 and 1/2 years old. Several of the derbies we went to had Bill Hillmann with 2 dogs entered. Those two dogs were Punch and Nick.
I always enjoyed watching Nick and Punch run for Bill. I also liked how approachable Bill was at those trials. Bill was always, endlessly open to discussing anything I wanted regarding training.
Again, my condolences. I have wonderful Nick memories as do many others.
Chris
My sincere condolences to Steve, Bill and Brick. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Nick on the video and training in Iowa and Texas. He will be missed.
I am at a total loss for words. My condolences go out to those involved. Bill, I have watched you and Nick many times and it was just awesome watching Nick grow into a fine adult with your help and guidance. You helped Nick become a national "hero" so say to those of us who are purely amateurs at the dog training game. I agree with you Bill, there simply are no words, but I felt like I needed to say something and many thanks to you AND Nick.
I was sorry to read about Nick and the blasto. It's such a terrible illness. My condolences on your loss.
