I just bought some Federal primers (the cheapest) and they were $5.99 a box of 100. I was lucky to find them. I guess they are in short supply around here.

this could be better than a deer camp scar challenge.

But if you notice my special hat that I wear, in combination with the ho boots, it would be a hard task. Not sure you are up for the challenge.

I have a special hat from a special lady that is one of my prized possessions. I'm afraid those hoe boots would go Nancy Sinatra on me.

In my hand launcher ( which I have been using quite a bit as my wife has been out of town on business) I use the construction primers from Home Depot. They work in the launcher, but not in a 22 cal starter pistol. They come in three colors, and I can get about 100 yards out of the yellow ones.

BTW--hand launching has never been my first choice.

There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace…........If one has cut, split, hauled, and piled his own good oak, and let his mind work the while, he will remember much about where the heat comes from, and with a wealth of detail denied to those who spend the weekend in town astride a radiator.

I bought 3000 209's (federal mags) online and with hazard shipping and all , I think the cost was an average of $3.00 - 3.50 per hundred. I bought a couple 209 pistols at Mack's supply for less than $100.00 each "very nice for the money" I have shot over a thousand rounds so far with perfect performance.
