There may be some other people near you in NC as well. It is more fun to train with other people and easier to help the dog progress.

Pftt!!! You couldn't pay me to train with those no count, sorry S.O......!

Yeah, I'm actually on the HT Committee. Really is a great club with a lot of good people and talent to say the least! I actually bounced this question off the Member list serve, and got some good feedback.

I'm just trying to get the jump on 'em this spring!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions!

Eric, I can deffinately tell you NOT to run the triple we ran weekend before last. Lol! Will not build confidence in handler or retriever! Hahaha

I would surmise that the triple I set up was indeed very difficult, but I thought if we ran all of the marks as singles it would not have been as difficult as it turned out to be. In retrospect, I should have run the marks in a different order and moved the flyer station outside of the marks instead of in between the two long birds. I would have to say that at least one of the dogs did not have any serious trouble with the marks.

Yeah, but that one dog is one of the best! (even if he has been on the couch for a few months)

I'll tell you after shooting the flyers for those first 3 dogs and watching you guys run those 3 marks as singles hell I was nervous! We ran it as a true triple and I got reminded again just how lucky I am to be able to spend my days with my best buddy no wonder he has taken me so many places.

Eric I think that email I sent you was almost verbatim what the Kaisers said here.
