Frankly I am amazed that so few people practice Couch OB training methods I don't know what I'd do if I had to actually get out of my chair to retrieve the remote, or my slippers, or my beer, when I have a couch lab who while usually in a deep unmoving state of extreme concentration, will get anything I need. After we negotiate the appropriate fee of course . Sure she might not move for 1 or 2 Doritos, but 4!!? or add in a cheese dip!!? and she's more than happy to get anyone anything you might need and sometimes things you didn't even know you needed

Robert Milner has developed methods adapted from dolphin training that will get your dog to scoot over in one third the time using only positive reinforcement.
I think it involves a bag of Cheetoes combined with enthusiastic bashing of conventional training methods.
