    I have used a 50' cable - it is just regular zip cord from Radio Shack with mono plugs attached. Little heavier wire than what is used on the 15' phono cords.

    check out wireless remotes on ebay, some claim 100 yard range.
    can run multiple devices cost around 30 buks
