I hesitated about posting, but I remember what it meant to me when RTFers posted rememberances of my dog. I just hate to see such a wonderful dog leave without some recognition.
Blue was a dog who adored Mark and gave 110%. He was an exceptional marker and a team player. He loved to work and was a true gentleman. I feel blessed and lucky to have seen him train and trial and I truly mourn the fact that I won't see him again. Mark gave him a wonderful life and while that may bring some comfort-we all know that what we all want is one more day.

Rest Well Blue-you were a credit to your breed and my heart breaks for Mark and Amy.

My condolences to Mark and Amy.

Blue was everything that has already been stated in this thread, and he had one more admirable quality- he was a great teacher. I had the priveledge to judge him in a Master hunt test when Mark's daughter handled him. The final series took it's toll on more than a few very accomplished dog/handler teams that warm afternoon, but Blue did a fine job helping a young and relatively inexperienced handler negotiate all the hazards of the test. He took every whistle and cast when there was no room for error. The two of them looked great doing it together! It is one of my fondest judging memories. Thank you, Blue!-Paul
