Grady offspring - big?
I have been looking into Grady as a Sire. My only concern is that I am hearing he throws big - tall pups. I would be interested in anyone other there that could give me some feedback that have a large sized Grady pup. Yes I know that the damn will make the difference as well. Not very interested in hearing about those that do not have large pups, just hearing about big pups.

I've seen some big Grady pups and some small ones. I have three on my truck right now out of the same litter. The dam is an average sized female. The male on my truck is very tall and lanky, one of the females is average sized and one is very small. You just never know.

I had a rather large Grady puppy....the dam was not that large and the breeder was actually pretty surprised at the size of the pups. Anyway the big guy ended up having bad hips....I did a PennHip at 6 months and it confirmed the bad wheels. I believe his large size played in his HD.

My Grady girl was 70lb at a year old. Never has had an ounce of fat on her- and is probably 70-75lbs now. Tall and lanky- will be 2 next week. Shes always a tad thin even because its hard to keep the weight on... can you say BUSY???

I have a 16 month old bitch out of Grady x Kate (no. 2 Derby dog 2010) 54 lbs not tall, 20 inches, nice size . Train with several other Grady off spring male and female different bitches, adults, nice size not leggy or tall? Not sure what is meant.

A person I train with kept 2 from his Grady litter, 1 female, 1 male. They are black and white different. The female is small but a real fireball, where the male is much bigger. It seems like the females tend to be smaller and the males seem to be bigger.
Do others see this as being true?

I have not noticed them to be bigger. They all tend to be a normal size. I have noticed them to look like the bitch. A lot of them even run just like them. I mean JUST like them.
I have bread my bitch to Grady, pups are now 8 months old......most of then from what i have heard are and will be big dogs.
Male 75-80 + and female 65 +.......
I have a 29 month old Grady female that is a little tall but 62lbs. She looks like her sire..
