Yeah Right!!! Remember Travis? You could put a elephant in his mouth and he would "usually" sound off and still "go"![]()

Sit means sit - for:
food
affection
release from the crate
release into the crate
release to retrieve
release to run a blind
we stop walking
put the dog on a leash with pinch collar, while dog is standing standing, have someone throw a bird, say NOTHING, do nothing, just wait until he sits down, then release him immediately, let him drag the leash
lather, rinse, repeat, a million times if you can until when he sees a bird thrown he automatically sits
let him learn on his own that if he doesn't sit, he doesn't get the bird

Non retrieves.
Throw 10 marks and pick them up if he remains steady let him get one as a reward. He's got to learn not every mark is his. After 1 week he will show huge improvement. You might need to add in a gun shot as well.

Look at some of Hillmans video clips on his website. He advertises here and is in the upper left corner of this screen. Has some clips for older dog too.
