Default Panther - DU Magazine Article

Did anybody read the article about Panther in the latest Ducks Unlimited magazine?? I love reading about stories like that! Pretty inspiring! Does anybody think that something like that is possible with all of the breedings that go on nowadays??

Why not? I would guess that there are lots of good dogs out there.

DU put out a short stories book a few years ago titled Panther. It was a good read!

    Black Panther -

A good friend has sent me the article.
Author Sandy Smith's account is accurate.
Judge's decisions cost Panther a national win.
The winning dog at Carnation Farms, WA. in 1951 was Mahlon
Wallace's fine Golden, FC Ready Always of Marian Hill, handled
    by William Wunderlich.

Spirit Lake Duke won the Mobile trial February 23-24, 1963, handled
by Joe Schomer, surpassing Panther's 172 1/2 points.
