Has anyone used 4Health Performance Dog food from Tractor Supply. According to Dog food Advisor it is a 5 Star product, and ranks higher than my PPP for less money and has a lot of the same supplements unless I am missing something.

I Fed 4Health Performance for about 8 weeks. I did not have good results. It seemed real inconsistent from one bag to the other. Several times when i opened a new bag all of the dogs in my kennel would get sick(similar to changing to a new food). I switched back to Pro Plan Performance and have not had any problems since. PPP Is more expensive but for me it is worth it.
X2 with what BM said. Fed for ten weeks had two sick dogs. Could not stop the runs. Switched back to PPP no problems. Strange but true.
A cold nose feels good on a hot day.....
Don't believe eveything you read on the internet. If PPP was that low of a dog food why would eveyone feed it??
My pup went on 4Health Puppy @ 7 weeks old.
@ 12 months old he went on 4Health High Performance
He's been on it for 8 weeks now and his stool is firm and regular. His energy level is high and long lasting, his coat is great and his body type is Ideal/Lean.
I couldn't ask for a better food for the price.
No Soy, No Corn, No Wheat, No Meat by-Products!
The dogfood advisor seems to be very thorough in His assesments
But every dogs system is unique. You may have to try some of the food and keep close tabs on Your dog
I tried it a while back and didn't have any luck with it

This may be a bit gdg, but the whole dog food rating and recommending thing drives me crazy. Heck, not just the dog food, but human nutrition too! Does pure science/research exist anymore without being paid for by a manufacturer/producer???? Who knows who drives the "dog food advisor" site. When I read about the benefits of dairy in my diet, I find that research was paid for by the Dairy Association. If I find that it is bad for me, it was paid for by the Soy Growers! The best I can do is continue to feed what works for my dogs and try not to get caught up in the "latest science" because most of it is not unbiased science at all. Reputation and history matter so much more. For sure, I will never ever buy anything that comes out of a Diamond affiliated factory. They have proven their concern with qc.
