Yea! Dog Food Again.....

This may be a bit gdg, but the whole dog food rating and recommending thing drives me crazy. Heck, not just the dog food, but human nutrition too! Does pure science/research exist anymore without being paid for by a manufacturer/producer???? Who knows who drives the "dog food advisor" site. When I read about the benefits of dairy in my diet, I find that research was paid for by the Dairy Association. If I find that it is bad for me, it was paid for by the Soy Growers! The best I can do is continue to feed what works for my dogs and try not to get caught up in the "latest science" because most of it is not unbiased science at all. Reputation and history matter so much more. For sure, I will never ever buy anything that comes out of a Diamond affiliated factory. They have proven their concern with qc.

Just throwing a question out there because we have a new Tractor Supply in town and was just wondering. And just to comment on one of my answers to the question... I guess everyone in the world drives a FORD dont they? Guess that is why there is so many diffrent brands. Thanks for the replies.

True. Just shows those ratings sites are worthless as they do not consider who makes the product, recalls or gathers any data from actual users of the product. It's just one person's opinion based of his/hers opinion of ingredients.

I switched from PPP to Fromm becouse its made in my home state of Wi and feel its a much better food! I also have seen an improvement in my dogs coats and stools on Fromm.

To me it's junk. I tried it on a couch potatoe dog and he did horrible on it. The kibble was inconsistent and would easily break apart. It was like sand almost. I've fed ppp and euk and had awesome results on both. You get what you pay for.

I bet it was a one time deal too. Find on on pro plan. Bury your head all you want.
