How often do you Charge your TriTronics Pro 100, 200, 500 or Flyway (G3)

I too voted before realizing my 1998 model Flyway special was not on the list. Old style chargers, no cradle. It has new batteries from Batteries Plus that last nearly forever between charges.

I was told Tri-Tronics are sooo smart compared to other brands that the stimulation given is always the same no matter the level of the batteries and this was a good reason to use Tri-Tronics.

When done training,, collar and transmitter back in charging cradle.

Never have to worry that way if tools arnt working perfectly.

I charge pretty much every other week I have yet to have a problem with them being charged and I was under the assumption they were like a cell phone battery where you should let them get low before charging them

Use the 500 until it craps out and switch to the 100 while 500 is charging.

I charge my Pro 500 once a week, other than that it stays in my truck. Never had a problem yet.

I put mine on about once every few weeks or if it dies on me. I don't even like keeping phone chargers or any other type of charger even plugged in, fear of gremlins coming through the wiring.

When I upgraded to G3 Pro 500 and Flyway setups, I had some dialogue with TT Customer Service while messing with the tracer light for a while. (I ultimately removed the tracer from my receiver and don't use one anymore).

Chris, I have Flyway & ran tracer lights on my collars and wondered if using them was allowing water to get in the collars I have since quit using them also. Wondering if you could elaborate a bit on your problems with them.

I found out last summer from customer service rep that if the batteries are allowed to go completely dead on the collars it can sometimes allow them to not stay in sync with the transmitter. Customer service said that a vast majority of their calls are do to this as the customer assumes the battery is dead or faulty collar ,but in fact just needs re synced to the transmitter.

Though I usually get my flyway and collars on the charger before they go dead I have had this exact thing happen so glad you posted it up thought it was an anomally, as I have had it happen only once with a spare collar. Have to try to be more diligent in rotating my collars onto the charger.
