How about we get a balanced budget and then we don't have to raise the ceiling every year?
They keep saying they need to pay the bills for items that have already been spent. What they need to do is run the country within a balanced budget.
The fact that the Debt ceiling was raised 7-8 times under Bush and now 4-5 times under Obama tells me that neither Party is interested in balancing the budget or taking on the Deficit!
Last year's Super Committee was an absolute joke.
