Congratulations! I don't think 6 is too old for agility especially running preferred. My husband and our over size Corgi (13") finished their PACH just before Beeper turned 10 last year. He was retired from obedience and herding when he started agility. He still runs him now and then when he has our OES (almost 9 yrs. old and running the Master level) entered.
