Locking your dog box

Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but with the recent posts about dogs getting stolen from dog boxes, I found a lock that in the worst case someone will have to make one hell of a racket to get it off.2013-02-12_14-22-53_397.jpg2013-02-12_14-24-38_636.jpg2013-02-12_14-27-13_140.jpg
The first pic is of my setup. I know that the latch is lockable but a pipewrench will bust it easily. The second pic is the lock installed. The third pic is the locks from the back side open and closed. They are a little pricey at $40 each but still cheaper than losing a family member.

Looks good. The $40 is just a drop in the bucket when in comes to this hobby.

I like that lock, I have the same doors on my box. Where did you find those locks?

They are American Lock Series 2000 puck lock. I googled it and saw some for as cheap as $30 bucks. I bought mine at a locksmith in Baton Rouge so I probably paid premium.
