You know, I am just so sick of his haughty, condescending manner that I simply can't stand to listen to that lying liar tell more lies. Nothing I can do about it at this point so why get my blood pressure up.
Any doctrine that weakens personal responsibility for judgment and for action helps create the attitudes that welcome and support the totalitarian state.

I was at work and missed most of it, but got to listen to about 30 minutes of it on the way home, the part I did hear went something like this: spend, spend, spend, spend, spend, spend, tax, spend, tax, spend, spend, spend, spend, tax, spend, spend, spend.................... What did I miss?

Not a darn thing, EVERYTHING that everyone here predicted was in the speech, including using the parents (coincidently black parents) of one of the Conn children sitting in the presidential box with his wife,to pander about taking a vote about gun control
I also watched the Rubio response, but could find no coverage of the Rand Paul Tea Party response, had to look up the text of his speech on line
obama is the kind of person i would have enjoyed an encounter with in junior high.
disclaimer: to members of the secret service, fbi, atf, cia and other authorities. i have managed my temper effectively for almost 40 years. my statement is not a threat against our country's president. my respect for the office of the president and president obama is tremendous. i am not now, nor have i ever been violent, or threatened violence towards another. also my comments are not racially motivated, i would scrap with almost anyone in junior high. i'm just saying that based on his displayed attitude it would have been fun to play pick-up basketball with him at the park in sixth grade!
(jd, can i get a high five)

Home from work, 9:20 p.m. and was able to view the last half of the ultimate fighter program. Great fight! Then after a new episode of Justified, my new favorite evening drama, then hit the desk…… Why, what else was good on television last evening?![]()

I was most offended by the Pep Rally attitude, stop standing, stop clapping let him speak, and please Obama stop chanting about the Gun vote, this isn't a revival weekend and we do not need you chanting to get louder clapping and cheering.
On a side note you acknowledged the violence in Chicago by addressing gun control that would not stop said violence in anyway.
Good show of people you could name drop though.
