    Default Locking Plastic Crate

    I am trying to lock a Ruff Tough kennel in a clean and non 'jerry-rigged' way. Any ideas?

    I drilled a hole in mine, got a long lock, and just locked the door shut. If someone really wanted to get into it, they could just break the door... but, it will certainly "slow them down..." Total cost was the cost of a lock. And it looks good. You cant even see the hole.

    if it's a smaller dog or they have 2 people they'll just take the crate and everything. Dog box bolted to the truck is IMHO the only way to go.

    I agree. It would be more of a deterrent than anything.
