Default 2 Dog Kennel for a mid sized SUV

So I am looking to add another dog but I drive a 4Runner, and no getting a pick-up in not an option right now. Anyway I was looking for a two dog crate. I can always just put two side by side but I didn't know if anyone knew of something say under 500.00 that would hold two dogs more efficiently. This would be great:

I have seen a few at this level but a grand is a little too much for me. Any other options out their. Does anyone make a two dog wired crate?

These are large Ruff Tuff crates.

I also have room for 2 intermediate crates in the middle. (currently use only 1)

You can bolt these kennels together.

You might try sending a pm to Chelsey's Triple H she has a Ford explorer with a nice two dog box it's custom made to her vehicle the sides are sloped at the top they put in air holes where she wanted them and it has a divider that you can take out. It's not metal but I'm not sure exactly what it's made out of. I'm going to train with her tomorrow I'll tell her to give you the info on it and maybe post some pictures of it.

Diy an option? plywood, screews and piano hinges. I think there is even a company that makes just the doors and vents. could save $$ and still look nice.

To Keith Stroyan. How do you get 2 intermediates in the middle? I'm assuming you still have the larges in the back? I can't get them in the back without folding the seats and then a crate won't sit on them. Can you show a picture with all???

I have a custom kennel by Northstar. If your looking for something in that price range and can fit two kennels/ wire crates look into the Ruff Tuff or Midwestern SUV wire crates. I don't know anyone who builds two-dog crates, simply because I don't think they are sturdy enough or there is a need. Otherwise this is what I have, but all their kennels are closer to the later price range mentioned.
