He will do a great job with both you and your retriever.
what county do you live in?
Are you interested in sending your dog away to a pro for training and pick up later or are you more interested in training with the pro 2 or more days per week and learn the process?

Did you by chance follow the steps outlined in Jackie Mertens Sound Beginnings?
Maybe follow some of Pat Nolan's online videos?
