Default Interceptor not avail - use Heartguard or what?

I went to order Interceptor today and tried two websites I usually use for dog meds. Both websites said per the manufacturer, Interceptor is unavailable for 3 to 4 months. No explanation given.

I need to order heart worm meds. now. What do you use? Heartguard Plus or something else?

Feed store or Tractor Supply. IverMax 1% solution administered orally at .10 cc per 10 lbs of body weight. I put it in a pill pocket and they gulp it down.

    Do not get IverMax Plus!

Heartguard is what I've had to use since Interceptor is not available.

Because fleas can be bad in our neck of the woods, I went to Trefexis when my vet finally ran out of Interceptor.

Switched to Heartguard also. My vet said Interceptor should be available soon.

For those using Trifexis what are you doing for ticks?

Oh and by the way there is a rebate available for Trefexis:

I've been using heartguard and since my new vet doesn't use interceptor I guess I'll be staying with it.
