Our heart felt condolences go out to Jackie Mertens for her loss of" Paws". She was a great one and produced some wonderful performing dogs of today. Paws was a very sweet girl and gave Jackie much joy both in competition years and retirement.

Oh how sad. Paws was such a talented girl and an absolute sweetheart. My heart goes out to Mrs. Jackie.

Oh wow! I just leaned over in my chair to give her littermate brother Yoda a pet and a hug, these animals break our hearts. Paws was a fantastic dog well over 30 all age points, derby list, double header and great producer. Also at my feet today is a very nice Paws son Gus. My heart goes out to Jackie, I know that even with all the great dogs she's had, Paws was special.
