No, not blaming them. Rome fell from within for several reasons. The Romans were defenseless and those with weapons refused to defend Rome, so the vandals and goths just walked in. Like most empires, it fell from within. I was just pointing out some historical context that differentiates the two. But, there is no denying that Rome was mightier when they were pagan.

I've heard that 1 but the guy that said it was 86 a few years ago. He said it all went to hell in WW2 when women went to work. He also said that the reason that Europeans have so much disdain for us was cause all the breeding he did there before coming home.

rome fell because of pasta! i went by my mamma's house today and she made a big pan of lasagna. i ate the heck out of that stuff and i had to take a nap. it stands to reason that if i ate pasta everyday, my enemies would soon know to just come over and conquer me........right after lunch!

you don't get that in no history book young-uns!

I don't really care to play your games. But I do find you somewhat amusing in a sad sort of way.

Yes, you do. Or you wouldn't reply. I'll give you the last word tonight. JD

The people running things now are the runts that didn't get picked at recess.
    The right fielders in LL.

The people who never had the motivation to get out and do things, they sat in class until there was nowhere else to go but acadamia and politics.

Obama has never built a damned things, he just tears stuff down.
And he is very good at it!
Nope, your generation did not do that. It was going on long before that. The people in this country lost sight of the vision long before that ( at least those in control did ). We have all been guilty in some way I guess. Voted wrong more than once myself. No way to control horses, kids or politicians once they get the bit between their teeth. We have no politically correct way to get their attention. vbeg.

Sorry everyone I started this thread and have not been back on here until today! First off I am glad to see that I am not the youngest, Jeff I am 35 and Youngblood it's very good to see a 21 year old on here. It is funny to see how certain people look at things, I am not saying the way I think is right, but WOW!
