Does anyone know the results from Del Bay or the Labrador Club's D/Q ?
I went there yesterday. Sorry, I never got the Friday Derby results. All I heard was that Bill Goldstein got a fourth in the Derby on Friday. The Friday Q was in it's last series at about 3:30 yesterday and the Saturday Q was still in the first (killer) series. The second Derby wasn't going to start until the end of the Q.
We should be hearing more later today.[/b]

I think Kay Sweezey (or owner) took 1st and 2nd don't know with which dogs.
I heard Kay ran one and the owner ran the other one.

Thanks for the good word.
BUT
Although Darla was looking very good in the DelBay Q we picked up in the 4th due to handler error.![]()
Sooooooo
NO RJam for us.
The 1st series of LRC's Q wiped out 37 of 54 dogs![]()
leaving just 17 for the land blind. We weren't one of them.
Labrador Derby- I know Kay Sweezey won and maybe second also. Jeff Lyons was 3rd or 4th and Bill Goldstein got a Jam. Labrador Qual.- Mike Hopkins got first, Second was David Jensen, Glen Golden was third and I can't remember fourth. Mike Osteen got the Res. Jam and another Jam. Dr. Jack Gwaltney also got a Jam and Milly Welsh Jam as well. That's all I remember. It was nice to meet all the RTF guys and gals at the trial this weekend. John Fallon, Joe S., Pi, Vikki D., Breck, Frantz H., I hope I didn't leave anyone out. We had a great weekend even though we didn't get in the numbers. Congrats. to all who made it through; you earned it.

Had a great time on Friday watching the Del Bay Q and meeting all the RTF people and some other friends I haven't seen in a few years. Brian, Breck and John Fallon, it was a pleasure to meet you all. John did a great job of marshaling and keeping things moving in a 52 dog Q.

Saturday Q was still in the first (killer) series.
What did they have set up for the "killer series" and how many dogs were called back?
