I created a spreadsheet based on the marking difficulty scoring info in Dr Jacks book.
I'll occasionally use it to calculate a tests difficulty for fun and it does seem interesting. Anyone else tried using his method?
Can't sort out how to attach an Excel spreadsheet here so took two snapshots.
Sample score is for a mixed bag land triple, 2 retired, out of order flyer.
At a trial have you thought a test was too easy? Did all the dogs do it? Or, was it a bugger with over half the dogs failing it?
If you build a Microsoft spreadsheet like in the pics you can plug in description and numbers for a test and see if results say easy of difficult.
If it gives accurate analysis after running several real test scores I imagine it could be used during setup. maybe not?
