Default Question for you guys with Taxidermy mounts

How many of you that have a lot of Taxidermy, use the pedestal floor stands?

    Are they stable?

Do you like them better than a wall hanging?

What Unique display ideas have you seen, that you would like to have in the future?

That's pretty much a loaded question with him.

I have a room full of taxidermy but have yet to add a pedestal...my main concern on them is that my dog will be able to reach it.

Gooser, I really like the pedestal mounts, but don't currently own any. May have to start though... I'm running out of wall space in this house. I have quite a few mounts... But we have too many windows too... Taking away valuable wall space!

I have most of mine done in a standing position but a few are done flying like my oldsquaw, woodies, etc

this guy stays at another location for the time until I have a chance to redo my house so the dogs dont get to it,

well, I guess the bear is sort of a pedastal mount... not really, but it has a base made of oak, then fake rocks, moss etc...

I love pedestal mounts. Here is how I did my 2009 DIY Idaho archery bull. This is an extremely stable mount. I shot a really nice 7x6 this year in CO that I am doing a Euro mount with and using a Skull Hooker to mount it on the wall.
