    I'm not a pro, I don't have any clients I have to please so I can train as I prefer. I used to ff at 5.5 months and cc right after. Now I cc at 6 months and ff at maybe 8 months. I think I like having them as trained (well, semi trained) puppies for a month or two to give them a chance to mature a little bit more and get good line habits before I ff them.

    Not sure if it's a better or worse methodology than I used to do, but I like it better.

    Just another data point for people's thoughts.
