    I never slide over dogs head. And unlike the old choke chains, if you can it is too loose. I take apart at a link and put back together just as if putting on a flat buckle collar. You want it high and snug.

    I was thinking about using a Tri-Tronics Sport Combo G3 when it came time for one. What would be a good age or skill level to introduce the e-collar?
