Thread: Using 22 blanks in real revolver in pa?

Default Using 22 blanks in real revolver in pa?

Friend wants to train using a real 22 caliber revolver with blanks instead of buying a starter pistol. Can't seem to find any laws against it. Pa hunting digest says he can't carry a rifle or shotgun. There's also the issue if he trains at the nearby state park. There are dates you can and can't train. I also know open carry is not allowed on state parks.

Just get a 209 primer GunX or that stapler looking Pop-start thingy.

A real revolver is much easier on your ears. The sound goes out the end of the barrel.

I'd say it would be fine as long as your friend has a permit for the pistol.

I get that the GunX 209er is probably the top of the line, but $200 for a blank shooter???

    I don't get that part.

Permit? Isn't the second amendment a good enough permit. What more permit could one need? unless concealed carrying

I'm pretty sure a handgun permit is required to carry it in Indiana, concealed or not. Don't know about PA.

Don't make the Judges think. Nothing good ever comes from that.
