Using 22 blanks in real revolver in pa?

Friend wants to train using a real 22 caliber revolver with blanks instead of buying a starter pistol. Can't seem to find any laws against it. Pa hunting digest says he can't carry a rifle or shotgun. There's also the issue if he trains at the nearby state park. There are dates you can and can't train. I also know open carry is not allowed on state parks.

A real revolver is much easier on your ears. The sound goes out the end of the barrel.

I'd say it would be fine as long as your friend has a permit for the pistol.

BTW, that was exactly how I hoped that would play out.

Right now, I feel like a dog that just got 3 live flyers, and a dozen fun bumpers.
