    Default training after whelping

when i checked the search function there were tons of threads about whelping but none about training afterwards - i don't know what it is but she is acting like she has completely forgot what marking and handling is, she is running to the launchers and continuously tries to hunt on blinds now she is a completely different dog after her litter i am thinking about stating back at force to pile and working our way back up any thoughts would be helpful and i have thick skin so don't hold back she needs to be a sound hunter again

How long ago did she have the pups? Mine have always bounced back very quickly, and surprised me by winning when pups just 8 weeks old. But every bitch is different.

I would probably recap basics/handling on the grid, and do some easy marks with her to get her back in the swing, and enjoying it again.

I am glad to read this Justin. My Golden seems to be "dumb" after her litter as well. We tried to compete in OB in Oct but she turned into a total blonde. lol Haven't done anything since tho.

Went to a training day with the club today and her marking seems to be better than it was from earlier last week but her handling is still a bit off so i will simplify and go over basic t work again and go from there
