    We wash our stainless trailers inside and out weekly with Simple Green. The 2008 Deerskin I tow looks like new. Not sure how it works on really dingy stuff, because ours never really get that dirty (because we wash them weekly).
    Be careful about using caustic or acidic cleaners on trailers or boxes. The stainless or aluminum will hold up fine, but any galvanized or zinc plated hardware can lose its plating and begin to rust.
