Very interesting, for a mostly old white man forum RK and Franco are in a dead heat. I predict RK will win but it just goes to show you that Old white men might be opening their eyes. Sorry RK voted for Franco status quo sucks.....not you, status quo.

I think I am anything but status quo.
I don't think Franco YELLING that everyday makes it so!
But that is up to you.

It's clear Franco wants this badly.
    As though it matters.
Voting just to be different solves nothing.

But at the end of the day, the rhetoric and criticism of the Libertarians also solves nothing.

Were there any legitimacy to this, it would matter.
    If it did;

    #1--Stop Obama care
    #2--Get out of Afgahnistan
#3--Open drilling in the Gulf of Mexico
    #4--Open the pipeline
#5--Offer tax incentives to building a state of the art refinery in middle America
#6--Eliminate tax incentives to wind and solar failures
    #7--Abolish several Fed Agencies
    #8--Get the EPA under control
#9--Reconfigure foreign policy (no cash to Egypt and such, at least cutbacks on what we send them)
#10-Sayonora to the UN, go set up shop elsewhere!

These simple things would start the ball rolling, could be easily achieved and solve a myriad of problems we are facing.

In this "mock" election, I would choose Marvin as my VP.
    Appoint Justice Dogs as AG
Bon M as Sec of State
    Huntinman as Sec of Int

Hell, I would look at Franco to revamp the Fed.

But alas, this is make believe.

BTW--I stand by and support Israel!
They can make their own decision, and I back them!

I would say for the first time in a my lifetime, and only on POTUS, we finally have a campaign.
Now Franco do we have a rebuttal and/or a counter proposal.

Hell, with 2 candidates like them, I'll turn democrat and vote twice, once for each of them. If they tie, I can call in the chad umpires and then we can argue which won for the next 100 years and whose fault it was for the next 500 years, as soon as it isn't Bush's fault any longer.

PS. Can I still come to the Jamboree RK?

    Candidate for Court Jester Regards,
Well, I'm not running. Not with a new fishing boat sitting in my driveway(Raymond L is going to show me some of his honey holes near Lake Charles, right Raymond?). I just feel it importatnt to defend the Libertarian position since it gets so maligned here on POTUS by the people that really know little about it.

    But, since you asked;

We really don't need more oil producution or a pipe line until we get some new refineries. Domestic oil producution has been at an all time high for the last 1.5 years. We just can refine it all and have to sell it on the world market, that is why prices have gone back up. So, unless we increase our capacaity to refine, what will we do with all that Canadian oil?

The oil companies should build a refinery but the EPA won't let them. I'm not for tax money financing anything that the private sector should. The gov needs to be completely out of the business of trying to pick winners and losers. Just look at the proliferation of CNG (natural gas) filling stations. All being done with private money because the private sector understands tha CNG is our fuel of the future. There was a story yesterday that all the pizza delivery vehicles in NYC are now powered by CNG. When we let the gov attempt to pick winners, we get Solindra(sp) and ethanol!!!

It's such a shame that in the USA, defending Liberty has become such a heroic deed.

Buffet has mentioned going to CNG for his Burlington RR Co. Engines. A move to energy self reliance in the all important shipping industry.

    RK your rebuttal

BTW might not be a bad sector to look at for stock investmensts the old boy hasn't been wrong much.

Is that all you saw in his post?

    Really?

We really don't need more oil producution or a pipe line until we get some new refineries
    Did I mention new refineries?
but the EPA won't let them
Did I mentioned throttling back the EPA?

Did I mention eliminating tax breaks and incentives for failures such as wind and solar??

    What about Afgahnistan?
    What about Israel?

No that is what I referenced. The main thing I saw in his post was no tax money to financing anything, I paraphrase, let the private sector pay for it. You are advocating tax incentives for refineries. Right under our feet we have energy independence. A clean burning, cheap resource, that will not require subsidies to Exxon etc. if we let Capitalism take its course.

Sorry RK the tax incentives to major oil companies is why we are hostage to them now.

Good Lord you did alot of editing lol
