Pup Off To Training
Just dropped off my 6mo YLF for training for three months. It's only been a few days and we miss her energy around the house. It is going to be a long wait. Im already bored. Can't wait to get her in the games this summer. Maybe we can give the pros a run for their money.
A cold nose feels good on a hot day.....
She will be home again before you know it and by then the weather will be nice for training. Our dogs all love being at the trainer and getting all those extra birds!
Mine has been gone 3 weeks now. I know he is liking it a lot more than I am...
If the trainer is a good one you might leave the puppy alone and keep her in training until next spring or summer, not this one.

Do not have golden pockets. 3 months max then it's up to me with the advice and grounds of the trainer. I love it that everyone thinks their dog can not be beat. Thats what makes the games so much fun!Originally Posted by Breck

Where are you taking your dog for training? I have a 12 week old lab and am looking into taking her somewhere around 6 months.
I am from the twin cities also, FYI.

I am in that same boat but mine has been gone since Dec. 19th. Like yourself, I am sure I am missing him more than he is missing me........ lol. I don't know how many times I turned around to go back and pick him up on the way home after dropping him off. I know it is sad sad sad....lol
