    I'd be concerned about the fat levels....I'd like to see more in relation to the protein. 16 is on the low side, at least for me.

    what type of fat to protien ratio are you looking for?

    Pro Plan Performance 30/20 better relationship between Proteins and Fats. Too high protein content for me. Food prolly should be better balanced. That is just me. Are you having trouble feeding food with grain in it?

    It's not about the ratio...it's the fat content for working dogs. I like 30/20.

    So would this food be okay for a pet dog?? My friend feeds Ancana Ranch and it is 37% protein and Fat is 16% Not sure if I would feed that to even my pet dog who is really not doing much??

    Just my opinion...but that's pretty high protein for a house pet that isn't doing anything.
