Thread: went to my first picnic

Default went to my first picnic

So I have a yellow lab Miley that I hunt with, but never did any formal training with. I find out there is a local retriever club and we joined and they had the first picnic practice today which was very fun. Met some really nice people and dogs. Afterwards the main trainer told me Miley did great, and was well above started and closer to seasoned then started. I have looked at started and junior tests on you tube so I will have to look at seasoned. It was funny yesterday I told my wife I was going to a picnic and she said, what I thought you were training Miley with that group. She was ready to buy me some hot dogs and potato salad.

I think you are exactly right, to do the started tests this summer. She ran doubles yesterday and did great but why rush anything.

Picnic trials are great for more than one reason. You're lucky you found one.
